Piazon On Loan

Talented Attacking Midfielder Lucas Piazon has made a loan move away from Chelsea FC to Malaga in Spain. Since Piazon joined the club the talk had always been that he would stay with Chelsea and develop into the first team squad so there was never much conversation about him going out on loan, but it is certainly the best thing for the player.

When players are as talented as Lucas is then going on loan to a club is the best thing for the players development. Piazon should be playing regular first team football and certainly has the ability to do just that and playing at Malaga will give him that oppertunity. Piazon's Representative on Twitter has said that the idea is that he play every game for Malaga including the Champions League although he has just missed out on playing against Barcelona.

Lucas Piazon is a player with superb ball skills and able to operate in any of the attacking midfield positions and even as a centre forward if needed. He has such good close control and the ability to beat a man with either pace or skill that he is always such a threat and even in his limited first team appearances he has shown that he is a threat when on the ball.

First team opportunities were always going to be limited for him this season, especially with so many new players in his positions to integrate. This loan could be a huge boost to his development and put him on a path to our first team.
